[DYK] Hexadecimal codes for Designers

Did you know:

  • Those 6-digit combinations you see in photoshop or in website codes are hexadecimal.  It's basically made up of 123456789ABCDEF with A being 10, B means 11, and so on.
  • The first two are for red, the next two are for green, the last two are for blue. Meaning: RRGGBB.
  • The higher the number, the brighter the color so #0000FF means blue and #000000 means black.
